These terms cover quotes requested through truehectare.co.nz and farm mapping work carried out by TrueHectare NZ. By requesting a quote or paying an invoice you agree to them.
The figure shown on the website is an estimate based on the LINZ title area of the properties you select. Every quote is reviewed and confirmed by us before an invoice is issued. A confirmed quote is valid for 30 days.
The quote covers flying the selected titles and producing the maps described on our website. Additional mapping packages are quoted separately.
A job is booked once a 30% deposit or full payment is received. Jobs paid in full are scheduled ahead of jobs paid by deposit. The balance is due before your final maps are released.
Payments are made by card through our secure payment page. All prices are in New Zealand dollars and exclude GST unless stated otherwise.
Drone flights depend on weather and airspace conditions. We will agree a flight window with you and let you know if it needs to move. You do not need to be present. You confirm that you own or have authority over the land we are asked to map, and that we can access it safely on the day.
Once paid in full you receive your maps and shapefiles for use on your farm, including loading into MyBallance, Hawkeye or similar systems. We keep a copy for our records. Maps are based on imagery captured on the day of the flight and on public LINZ data, and should be checked against conditions on the ground before relying on them.
If, after 12 months of using your maps, you can show the maps have not saved you at least the amount you paid us, we will refund what you paid. Claims need to be made in writing within 13 months of your flight date with the fertiliser records for the period.
You can cancel before your flight date and we will refund your payment less any costs already incurred. If we cannot fly within 60 days of booking for reasons on our side, you can cancel for a full refund.
To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the job. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 where it applies.
