TrueHectare NZ ("we", "us") is a farm mapping business based in Te Puke, New Zealand. This policy explains what we collect when you use truehectare.co.nz and our services, and how we look after it. We follow the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
When you request a quote we collect your name, email address, phone number, farm address, the property titles you select, and any notes or options you add. We also record the quote we calculated for you.
Property boundary and title information comes from the LINZ Data Service. Address lookups are provided by Addy Solutions. Neither service receives your contact details from us.
We do not sell your information or use it for third-party marketing.
Your details are stored in our customer management system (GoHighLevel) and our website hosting (Vercel). Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. These providers may store data outside New Zealand and have their own privacy safeguards.
We keep quote and job records for as long as we need them to provide the service and meet our legal obligations, generally seven years for financial records. Quote requests that do not proceed are kept for up to 12 months.
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we no longer need it. Email dan@truehectare.co.nz or call 022 352 6708.
Our website uses only the cookies needed for it to work and for basic, anonymous visitor statistics. We do not use advertising cookies.
If we update this policy we will post the new version here with the date it took effect.
